Musequality is a small UK registered charity founded in 2007. It was set up by the violinist,David Juritz, who, as he approached his 50th birthday, decided to fulfil a life-long ambition ... to busk round the world for charity.
He wanted specifically to help teachers set up music projects for the poorest children in the developing world, and after discovering that there wasn't already a charity doing this, he decided to found Musequality. The charity received its formal registration in May 2007, a few weeks before Juritz set off on his Round the World and Bach busking tour.
Musequality raises money through donations from private individuals, schools, trusts, concerts, sponsored practices, the Musequality World Busk and other events.
It is run by its trustees.

Staff and administration
We currently have no paid staff. Our work is carried out by our trustees and volunteers. We occasionally pay for skills and expertise (such as technical support) when needed.
The trustees are grateful to:
Jane Davies, whose support as a graphic and website designer (all unpaid) has been immense.
Joanna Biddolph, former trustee, whose passion and commitment to Musequality have been invaluable.
Laura Sheldon, who helped to set up our first World Busk
Jean Buck who co-ordinates our Sponsored Practice Scheme and other work with schools.
